Brooklyn Acupuncture Project is a community healing space. We offer acupuncture, herbs, massage, Reiki, and other healing modalities to the community, with a focus on acupuncture.
We are looking for a licensed acupuncturist to join the team who is caring, grounded, well-organized, a strong communicator, likes to work as part of a community clinic team, and is comfortable treating in a fast-paced clinic.
As a contracted practitioner, we ask that you:
hold your own malpractice insurance;
commit to treating 2 shifts per week (shifts are approximately 5 hours);
attend quarterly meetings;
be a healing presence;
show up fully and on time (15-30 min before first scheduled patient);
commit to caring for the physical space while present;
give 2-3 weeks notice when taking time off;
commit to serving at BAP for at least 1.5 years;
and give 1 month notice when you no longer want to serve as a BAP practitioner.
At least one weekend shift is currently needed.
Practitioners are independently contracted and receive a percentage of fees collected from patients during their shift.
BIPOC practitioners are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Please send resume and cover letter or any questions to danette@brooklynacupunctureproject.com.
