Brooklyn Acupuncture Project (BAP) is part of the Community Acupuncture Network (CAN); a nonprofit network of practitioners, patients, and supporters whose goal is to make acupuncture more affordable and accessible. By offering acupuncture on a low sliding fee scale (18-40 dollars), we promote the frequent self care that supports a life of vibrant health.

Acupuncture is part of traditional East Asian medicine. Over the centuries, traditional medicine has been successful in treating the many ailments of working people; as it is safe, affordable, and easily accessible. Honoring this, BAP is dedicated to making high quality acupuncture treatments affordable for Brooklyn’s working people.

Like other traditional medicines throughout the world, acupuncture is now experiencing a resurgence of popularity with patients and practitioners of both modern and traditional practices. Brooklyn Acupuncture Project is our response to this increased demand. As a Community Acupuncture Practice, BAP is designed to strengthen, support, and serve all of Brooklyn’s communities.

BAP believes in the incredible benefits of treating people in a group setting. At the clinic, we treat people in comfortable reclining chairs in a sunny open room where others are relaxing (often sleeping!) while receiving acupuncture. The positive feeling created in a room filled with others focusing on healing is apparent the first time you set foot in our clinic.

At this time of financial uncertainty, many of our neighbors are losing access to health care. At BAP, we have removed the barrier between money and quality care. We are committed to keeping the cost of treatment within everyone’s grasp, so all people can come in enough to get better and stay better.

We welcome you to your health!
