YOGA WEDNESDAYS Hatha, 7-8:15 p.m: An alignment based practice where
students hold poses longer in order to balance the positive and negative
currents of the body. Class includes pranayama (breathing techniques)
and/or meditation. $12/class and $100/10 class pass

QIGONG CLASSES BEGIN IN MAY! “Qi” means vital energy (we often find the link through our breath) and “gong” means work, skill, or cultivation. Qigong is working with or cultivating energy. It is also a path of observation. Taiji (or T’ai Chi as you may know it) is a martial form of Qigong. The roots ofacupuncture lie in Qigong, meaning learning the forms is like doing acupuncture on yourself. Jennifer Burch will be teaching the series www.jenniferintanburch.com
